『真面目なお話』〜なぜ韓国人は日本人を嫌うのか　〜アイルランド留学記〜

KPOPの大流行の裏側で。

これは僕が留学時代に空き時間でまとめていた内容の集約です。

偏りがないように、日本、韓国、海外のジャーナルから記事を集めてまとめていました。

今や韓国料理や、KPOP、韓国の文化は日本と切っても切れない関係になっています。

それゆえ、韓国が大好きな方、よく旅行に行かれる方、なんとなく好きな方。たくさんいらっしゃるとは思いますが、本当にそれだけでいいのか？と言うところに焦点を置きました。

これは韓国籍の方とはあまり話し合って欲しくない内容ですが、必ず知っておかなければならない内容です。

ちなみに僕は韓国の子とこの話をして大喧嘩しました。笑

ニュースをよく見る方はもうご存知かとは思いますが、そーゆーのは疎いな〜って人は読んでおいてください。

これを読んで、日々気持ちを改めようと思ったり、もっと情勢に詳しくなろうと思ったりするきっかけになってもらえたら嬉しいです。

（慰安婦問題）

Have you heard about the diplomacy between Japan and Korea?

I’d say, international diplomacy is always the beneficial trade but not friendship.

I mean, each country says, friendship with other countries produces money, as a result, we have been balancing amazing friendship.

I say, that is the paradox.

（日韓の外交については聞いたことがあるだろうか？一般的に国際外交とは友好的なものではなく、受益の関係だと言えるだろう。それぞれの国が、他の国と友好関係を築き上げ、お金を生む。結果として素晴らしい友好関係を保っているのだ、と言う。だが僕はそれが矛盾に聞こえて仕方がない）

We conclude treaties so as to obtain huge national interest.

The diplomacy between Japan and Korea has been so long in a worst mood as we haven’t sort out ‘comfort women problem’ , which is the reason Japan has apologized to Korea for ages and compensated sum of money for the victims.

However, Korea has so long demanded compensation for the victims again and again.

Of course, both two have their own says.

It is the truth that Japan and Korea have established diplomacy relations.

I’m quite neutral on this issue.　

（私たちは巨大な国益を手に入れるために条約を結ぶ。だが日韓の外交は最悪のムードが続いている。それはかつて起こった『慰安婦問題』が解決されていないのが１つ目の理由だ。それが理由で日本は長年韓国に謝罪し続け、多額の賠償金を被害者に支払っている。しかし、韓国は何度も何度も賠償金を要求しているのだ。

もちろん両国に言い分はある。日韓は外交関係を築き上げたのは事実だが、実際に述べている友好関係とは程遠いように思われる。

ちなみに僕は中立の立場で述べていく。）

1: Korea side’s insistence

In the WWII, Japanese military forces forced 200,000 women from Asia to be sexual slavery against their will.

Not only Korean government but also citizens have plead with Japan to apologize sincerely.

（１：韓国側の主張

第二次世界大戦において、日本軍はアジア諸国から彼らの意思に反して20万人の人々を性奴隷にした。韓国政府だけでなく、市民も日本による誠意のある謝罪を懇願している）

2: Japan side’s insistence

Japan compensated more than 11　billion dollars for Korea after the war.

At the same time, Japan concluded a treaty with Korea, which states that both countries would forgive each other, in the case that Japan admits their fault in the war and compensates for Korea.

Of course, Japan did.

So, for practical purpose, comfort women issue was sorted out at that time.

（２：日本側の主張

日本はこれまで終戦以降韓国に110億ドル以上の賠償金を支払ってきた。

同時に日本は韓国とお互いの国が許しあうという条約を結び、日本は戦争での失態を認め、賠償金を支払った。

実質上、この時点で慰安婦問題は解決された。と言うものだ。）

3: why do they still have the issue?

I can make the case that it’s both country’s fault.

（3：ではなぜ未だに両国間で問題になっているのか？　

　＝これは両国の失態であると言える）

① A part of reason is because Japan hasn’t admitted that Japan forced women to be sexual slavery as there is no evidence, there is no statement to prove that Japan did. Korean government also hasn’t found it yet. So, Japan can’t apologize to Korea without some evidences.

（①日本は多くの人々を性奴隷にしたと言うことを認めてはいない。なぜなら証拠やそれらが記されている声明も何もないから、というのが１つの理由だ。

韓国政府もまた証拠を見つけられないでいる。だからこそ日本は証拠無しには謝罪できない、というのだ。）

② Regardless of no evidence, Japan apologized to Korea without underlying

reasons in the past.

It was the trigger that Korea assumes that it is Japan to take all responsibilities for the issue.

（②証拠が無いにも関わらず、日本は過去に１度根拠も無く韓国に謝罪した。

これが韓国が今尚、全ての責任は日本にあると考えている引き金となったのだ。）

③ Following above, Korean government keeps claiming compensation from Japan, what’s more, they insist that japan has a responsibility to compensate for the comfort women who were sexual slavery for USA allies forces.

（③そして、韓国政府は日本からの賠償金を要求し続けている。さらに、かつてアメリカ合衆国の性奴隷だった人々の分まで責任を負え。と要求している。）

④ It is also true that Korea tends to paraphrase their history in a good way for Korea.

Korea tends to paraphrase that Korean government in the past had been disaster in order to whitewash their inconvenient histories.

Here is the thing.

In the past, Korea was a territory of Japan and Japan improved their national interest and developed in economy and technology aspects in that area, which is now called South Korea.

Truly and according to aged Korean, the standard of living in the past when Korea was a territory of Japan was much higher than it is now.

Recently Korean students have been taught that Korea was colonized by Japan and disaster was going on.

So, it is also the reason Korean people tend to have prejudice against Japan.

（④韓国は韓国に都合のいいように過去を塗り替えがちなのは事実だ。韓国政府はかつての政府がひどかったため、歴史を隠蔽している。

これが一例だ。

過去に韓国は日本の領地であり、日本は国益を増大し、今『韓国』と呼ばれるその領地で技術開発や産業を開発していた。お年寄りの韓国人に話を聞くと、かつて日本の領地だった『韓国』は今の韓国よりもずっと生活水準が高かった。と答えたそうだ。近年韓国人生徒は韓国がかつて植民地化され、悲惨な生活を送っていた、と教えられているそうだ。それゆえ、韓国人の中には日本に対して偏見を持っている人々も多い。）

⑤ However, It takes two to tango.

After the war, Japanese protestants against Japan spread out the notion that Japan forced women to be sexual slavery and paraphrased the truth to the untruth.

So almost causes are Japanese protesters against Japan and the tendency of Korea to paraphrase their history.

（⑤しかし責任は両方にある。戦後、日本への日本人抗議者が、日本は女性を性奴隷にしたという考えをに世に広め、真実すらも嘘に書き換えてしまった。

だからほとんどの原因は日本人抗議者によるものと、韓国の歴史を塗り替える風潮によるものである。）

⑥ Korea has been finding fault with Japan, even if there is no relation to Japan. It is the good instance that Korea compensated for the victims who were sexual slaveries for the USA.

Korea knows that Japan will continue compensating for them.

Because there is still no statement or evidence whether Japan did or did’t, what’s worse for Japan, Japan once admitted that Japan forced women to be sexual slaveries in the WWII without underlying reason.

They just wanted to put an end to the issue.

（⑥韓国は日本に関係のないことですら日本の粗探しをする。韓国がアメリカの性奴隷のことまで責任を取れと言っていたのはいい例である。韓国は日本がこの先もずっと賠償金を払うと確信している。

なぜなら日本がしたかしていないかという証拠も文書もなく、日本は１度認めてしまったからである。

終止符を打ちたいところだ。）

⑦ I guess there is no end on the issue.

Korean has been brainwashed by the history to believe that they are living in the happiest country and experienced cruel histories which are maybe untruth.

So, they will have a prejudice against Japan and continue finding fault with Japan.

Japan doesn’t know what to do as we once admitted Japan did and has already compensated for the victims.

（⑦もしかしたら終わりはないのかもしれない。

韓国は歴史に洗脳され、残忍な過去を生き延びた幸せな国だと言う。

だからこそ、日本に対して偏見があり、これからも続けていくだろう。

日本は１度認めてしまったからどうしていいかわからず、賠償金も支払ってしまったと言う事実は拭いきれないでいる。）

national interest of south korea and north korea is lower than japan.
